A lot of times I think youth don’t realize how much impact they really have because they are young. And I think when they are young they are told all the time you know, you are young you can’t do anything and your voice doesn’t matter because you’re so young. And it does, I think it matters more than even adults in a lot of ways
Volunteering is important, again, it’s our world. We live in it, we walk on it. And we complain about it, every day I’m sure. If you’re complaining about it, try fixing it one thing at a time you know.
I have actually participated in a lot of different events that have been apart of helping out youth and getting them involved. We actually did youth day, we performed for a bunch of youth, got them out and got them excited. As well as, if you guys remember, tu
off the light, tu
off the light for an hour, got everyone involved. It was like me, Nelly Furtado, Philosopher Kings a bunch of people. We performed and it was a great amazing tu
out.
What would I say to inspire everyone out there? I would say just do it, just go out there. You know, why not. It’s not going to hurt you really.
