of how many ways you can help out and all the routes Maybe you want to help, maybe you want to give but you’re just not sure what direction, well this a great way to open all those doors
Skate4 cancer is an organization started by me and a group of friends to educate kids about cancer prevention using skateboarding.
I started skate for cancer because at the time about 7 years ago I had a lot of people in my life that were affected by cancer. And it was a way for me to give back and turn that negative energy that was going on in my life into something positive, hopefully, later down the road.
Volunteers are important to skate for cancer because it’s just been what skate4cancer has been about since the beginning and without volunteers skate4cancer wouldn’t exist.
Youth can make a difference in their communities by volunteering is just get out there be involved in a program like this and just lea
of all the different opportunities you can help out through volunteering. It may be a specific cause you may just want to help out in general you may not know what cause you want to help out with yet but just getting involved and learing of all the different ways you can help out is a really amazing thing.
