Michelle Arsenault, Master of ceremonies, Board member, Regroupement des gens d'affaires francophones de Sudbury

Michelle Arsenault: I am very happy to be here with you today for the regional launch of the Government of Ontario's Accent on Youth strategy, which was officially launched by Ontario's Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, Madeleine Meilleur, on December 18, 2008, in Ottawa.

Madeleine Meilleur, Minister of Community and Social Services and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs

At the launch, I expressed my desire for Francophone youth to get involved, particularly in the business world. That is why today I am very pleased to announce that a $20,000 contribution has been made to support the first phase of a project to develop a young business people's network here in Sudbury.

Denis Hubert, President, Collège Boréal

We are working toward a common goal: ensuring the sustainability and quality of the French language in Ontario, so that it continues to be used daily in social contexts, conversations and, my young business students, in business.

Dave Ringuette, President, Regroupement des jeunes gens d'affaires de Sudbury

We will be able to organize a lecture series as well as recruitment and networking activities. We will finally be in a position to provide a supportive Francophone environment that will enable young people to start and run their own businesses. Thank you.
