Slide 1
Hi! My name is David and I will take you through the process of making a re-filing request for an electronic filing through the Pension Services Portal.

Slide 2
To get started, you need to go to the PSP and log into your PSP account.

If you need help with this process, please visit FSCO's website where you can view an instructional video on "logging into the PSP".

Slide 3
After you log into your PSP account, you will see the My Profile page. In the top navigation bar, select "E-Filing".

Slide 4
You should now see the Filing Record page. To submit a re-filing request, you must first select the applicable filing. To do this, select the plan number, the filing type and filing year from the drop down menus. After you select the appropriate filing, click on "open workspace" in the "actions" column.

Slide 5
You should now see the Filing Workspace page. Carefully review all of the information that is shown on this page, to ensure this is the correct filing you want to re-file. Then click on "request re-filing" in the "actions" box that is located in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Slide 6
You will now see the Application Profile page. Please complete all of the required fields and include any explanatory notes regarding your request. When you're done, click on the "start" button at the bottom of the page.

Note that if you click on the "cancel" button, you will lose all of the information you just entered and will be returned to Filing Workspace page.

Slide 7
You should now see the Application Workspace page with the details of your re-filing request. To submit your request, click on the "submit" button in the "actions" box that is located in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

Note that at any time after starting a request, you can click on "abandon" in the "actions" box to delete the request.

Slide 8
Upon selecting "submit" from the "actions" box, you'll see the Submit Application page. To finalize your request, please review the confirmation statement, click on the checkbox that is shown at the bottom of the page, and then click on the "certify & submit" button.

Slide 9
Once your re-filing request has been submitted, you will be taken back to the Application Workspace page. Here you can view the status of your request.

Slide 10
If you already started a re-filing request, you won't see the "request re-filing" link in the "actions" box on the Filing Workspace page.

If you want to view a re-filing request you previously started, select "applications" from the top navigation bar.

Slide 11
This will take you to the Application Record page. Here you will see your re-filing request, which will say "started" in the status column.

To continue working on your request, choose "open workspace" and follow the instructions on how to submit a re-filing request, which were outlined earlier in this video.

Slide 12
If your request meets all of FSCO's prescribed requirements, you will receive an email from FSCO informing you that your request has been approved. To start and submit a revised filing, please follow the instructions that are provided in the email.

Keep in mind that when you're re-filing through the PSP, all data on the online fillable form for the Annual Information Return, Pension Benefits Guarantee Fund Assessment Certificate, Investment Information Summary or Actuarial Information Summary must be re-entered.

Slide 13
If your re-filing request is denied, you will receive an email from FSCO informing you that your request to re-file has not been approved. If you have any questions or want information on why your request was denied, please send us an email at PensionInquiries@fsco.gov.on.ca.

Slide 14
Please note that PSP accounts are not to be shared. If FSCO becomes aware that your has account has been compromised, we will suspend your account.
